“For You” is about pouring your heart to someone you love. Being able to do this was
extremely scary and vulnerable for me. It is one of the hardest things I have ever done. It is also
one of the best things I have ever done. The song is honest, and raw. I only wanted it to be my
voice and a soft piano. The reverb I used was completely natural too, I recorded it in an empty
room. I wanted it to feel like I was directly singing to the person from a grand piano in my living
room.
