Katherine Beggs is an accomplished young composer from Los Angeles, California. She is classically trained in piano and composition and does film scoring and music production.
She is committed to activism and social change, which shines through her music. She uses storytelling to amplify diverse voices, bring awareness to social issues, and inspire others. She has made it a personal mission to compose music for causes that she believes in and is deeply committed to the creative vision of her clients. Katherine also aims to uplift the voices of of marginalized identities in the music industry.
Katherine is a screen-scoring Master's student at NYU Steinhardt. She recently graduated from Brown University with a dual degree in Music and Political Science. She is also the co-founder of Cutting Room Music, where she works alongside veteran media composers Mark Roos and Adonis Tsilimparis.
