This song is about the innocence of a childhood crush, one of the first ones I ever had. At
the time, I did not really understand the feelings but I tried to put into words what I would think
about as a kid. The lyrics are sophisticated, but try to capture the simplicity of being a child. It is
nostalgic too, expressing longing not for the person itself but the feelings and times in that part of
my life. To reflect this simplicity, I opted for simple guitar chords and melodies, light strings, and
minimal production.
